Manny Being Manny

Manny just went yard for a three-run homer to give the Sox an 8-5 lead in the 8th. In typical Manny fashion, the ball barely cleared the right field fence and he went into his home run trot right out of the box. God, this guy is maddening.

Some thoughts for Kampy while watching the Spurs - Kings game... Bonzi Wells (guard for the kings) is a great name ... i've just watched 6 minutes and 12 seconds of basketball and 37 minutes of commercials. There are way too many time outs in basketball - especially in OT ... the jam hits a few wagers on the spurs and the over but sitting through that many commercials is like sticking bamboo shoots up my finger nails... it was great to see Nomar hit a game winning grand slam the other night, but did you see his line tonight in the 14 inning marathon against the Astros: 0 for 6 with 7 men lob. Ouch. The jam took the 'stros at +107. Nice night of wagers for the jam ... Kampy, can you start a gambling blog??

I'm rooting for Nomar to do well, as I'm sure you are too. Nomie's the only superstar baseball player whose wife makes more than he does. Poor bastard must have had a shitty agent. (Victor?)

Bobby, the beauty of blogdom is that we can start any damn blog we want! It's the information superhighway, baby. We can do one on Russian women, the song 'Brandy,' or we can certainly do one on gambling. That's actually not a bad idea.
